TEAM BUILDING OPPORTUNTIES
Sponsoring Team Builds with Habitat for Humanity provide a unique, fun and rewarding experience for any group. No previous construction skills are needed and Habitat will provide the tools and training you need for success.
During a day on the job site, your team will work alongside a Habitat partner family to help them build their home. Group construction tasks offer great opportunities to strengthen workplace skills.
Team Builds provide corporations, other nonprofits, schools and many other groups to develop their team while giving back.
Why do a Team Build Day?
Financial Giving Opportunities
Sponsoring a Team Build supports Habitat’s work to build homes and hope with a financial contribution. It is highly recommended to make a monetary gift in addition to volunteering. Funds received from our Team Builds help us buy materials, pay for lunch, and provide training to our volunteers. Our affiliate is 100% volunteer and do not accept funds from the government. We raise funds from Team Builds, Grants, fundraisers, donations in kind and donations from individuals. Your contribution could go toward putting a new roof on, installing windows, flooring, paint, landscaping, essentially, anything involved in building a house! What you get:

- All you need is you. We provide all equipment, training, and supervision during the build. You do not have to have any experience but will probably come away with a whole new value for home ownership and new skills.
- We usually work on Saturdays but will make certain exceptions. We work from 8:30am to 3:00pm.. Volunteers can work a full or half day.
- Team Builds may be scheduled for just one day or for multiple days and includes groups of up to 16 volunteers.
- Volunteer must be at least 16 years of age with an adult chaperone and at least age 18 to operate electric tools.
