Board Members

Executive Director Linda Plays with Board Members Louise Carriere and Damon Arpin.

Our Board of Directors determines policy and monitors operations. Board members are dedicated volunteers who are deeply concerned about the problems of inadequate housing in our community. We operate with the support of long-term and short-term volunteers, with no paid staff or employees.

If you are interested in joining our board, it is recommended that you attend a couple of meetings to learn more about our affiliate.  As a board member you should not be absent from more than 3 board meetings. Your seat may be opened after continued absences. A sex offender, and criminal back ground check is required of all volunteers and board members in addition to signing a confidentiality agreement.  Board members also take a tutorial training session to get them up to speed on the mission of Habitat.

If you are interested in attending a board meeting or being on a committee, please contact Executive Director Linda Plays at  linda.plays@habitatriwestbay.org.

All Board Meetings are open to the public. However, upon occasion, portions of the meeting may be restricted to Board Members only, at which time non-Board Members will be asked to leave.
